Description
This is a stained glass-on-glass mosaic art piece that features 850+ hand-cut stained glass diamond pieces. While I often combine beads with my geometric designs, I wanted the hand-cut diamonds to be the whole focus in this particular piece. I also wanted to create a design that highlights a rainbow of colors.
Dimensions: Height 21 1/2″ x Length 15 1/2″ x Depth 1″
Frame: Brown multi-pane wood frame.
*Although stained glass mosaics resemble traditional stained glass, sanded grout is used in mosaics rather than lead, to connect the glass pieces. This, then, allows the viewer to enjoy stained glass without the concern of lead exposure.
